After the death of his father, Rajinikanth left his village in order to find peace. Over years he has grown into a powerful man who had no interests in anything but training and fighting. When Rakshya's voice for peace is heard, he takes her to his village where they grow up together while continuing their training. They both decide to go on different paths when she becomes infatuated by the wealthy Dhanush for whom she pledges her life for. When he finds out about her vow, he kidnaps her. This upsets Rajinikanth who decides to set out on a quest to rescue his beloved, despite the fact that Dhanush wants him dead. The soundtrack album consists of five tracks composed by A R Rahman with lyrics written by Pa. Vijay , Na. Muthukumar , Thamarai. All the tracks are composed by A. R.
